CEDARBURG AT A GLANCE

Historic Cedarburg Website
Cedarburg Economic Profile

Known for its vibrant downtown area, growing art scene, charming shops and trendy restaurants, Cedarburg is a city for those seeking a beautiful place to live and work.

Today, with a population reaching 11,500 in the city and an additional 6,000 residents in town, Cedarburg offers the best in small-town Wisconsin life, yet is large enough to offer the convenience of a modern contemporary city, with the metropolitan attractions of Milwaukee only minutes away.

Situated 20 miles north of Milwaukee, Cedarburg's location is among one of the most appealing assets. The area sits merely three miles west of I-43 and four miles west of the Lake Michigan shoreline.

The initial settlers of Cedarburg - made up of German and Irish immigrants - were enticed by the power producing potential of Cedar Creek. Our community owned utility, Cedarburg Light & Water, provides electric power to local consumers at rates up to 20 percent lower than those of neighboring utilities. Ample and safe water service is supplied to all homes, businesses and industries from wells, and a well-maintained storage distribution system.

Come join us in our lovely small-town community!
